I specialise in pharmaceutical, food and chemicals law, including cosmetics law. I also advise on the legal aspects of manufacturing, importing, distribution and marketing of other regulated products, including borderline products.
In my career to date, I have advised more than 100 entities from various regulated industries, especially the pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetics industry, but also from sectors such as animal feed/pet food, veterinary medicinal products, hygiene products, household chemical products, biocidal products, fertilisers, plant protection products and large-scale retailing. I have also dealt with aspects of product liability, including general product safety regulations, etc. I also advise on environmental communication, sustainability, and greenwashing. I have experience in compliance issues and business self-regulation.
I advise owners, board members and various departments within companies, such as the legal and compliance, regulatory, medical, quality assurance, R&D, public affairs, public relations, marketing and sales departments.
I represent clients before authorities, in particular, the Sanitary Inspectorate, the Trade Inspectorate and the Agricultural and Food Quality Inspectorate. I provide legal support in crisis situations (suspension/recall of products from the market, RASFF/Safety Gate), as well as advice on procedures and training.
I participated in the preparation of the Code of Good Marketing Practice of Dietary Supplements. I additionally have experience in coordinating legal support in various countries.
Before joining KRK, I worked for almost nine years in the Life Sciences team of one of Poland’s largest law firms.
I hold the post of Chair of the Ethics Committee of the Polish Council for Supplements and Nutritional Foods.
