Justyna Nowak-Musiałczyk, PhD

Attorney-at-Law

I specialise in pharmaceutical law, including advertising medicinal products, clinical trials of medicinal products and medical devices, and food and cosmetics law.

I have extensive experience in representing pharmaceutical wholesalers and pharmacies, as well as health food producers before bodies of public administration and in drafting agreements for such entities. My experience especially includes support of pharmaceutical wholesalers and pharmacies in administrative proceedings, monitoring compliance with GDP in international relations, and issues of serialisation of drugs in individual European Union Member States. I am a co-author of a report on the principles of transparency in the EU pharmaceutical markets.

I also advise food producers on labelling and advertising, distribution and agency agreements. I provide legal support and coordinate activities with foreign lawyers in proceedings before the food market supervisory bodies and consumer protection bodies in the EU Member States. I conduct legal training for marketing staff on the advertising of food products, as well as self-regulation and co-regulation – the creation and application of industry codes.

Before joining KRK, I worked for several years as an in-house lawyer at one of Poland’s largest pharmaceutical companies, where I jointly created and legally supported its foreign operations. I previously gained experience in a law firm. My doctoral thesis was about self-regulation and co-regulation in the food products markets.

I am recommended as a Leading Associate in the Legal 500 international legal ranking in the field of Healthcare & Life Sciences
